- Susan Wanji-Wanji was born in 1955 in Arhemland, NT, Australia. She grew up in the Tiwi community of Maningrida on the north coast of the mainland.

She is a multi-talented artist with works ranging from woven baskets to tunga bark baskets. She has worked in the Tiwi Islands and Arnhemland.Her work shows influences from both areas. This print was acquired at Melville Island's Munupi Art Centre.

In 2013. she was a finalist in the prestigious Telstra Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award Competition.Her paintings have highly valued and are represented in many national as well as international collections.
